Contraindications

This treatment is not recommended during menses, where an IUD is present, during the first 19wks of pregnancy, immediately after abdominal surgery, or where an active infection or cancer is present in the pelvic region.

Covid

Lizzie takes the risks of covid and other transmissable infections very seriously and has several protocols in place to protect both you and her from these as far as is possible. 

You will be asked to fill in and return a covid screening form 24 hours before your appointment.

Please take a lateral flow test within 24 hours of treatment if you have any kind of cold like symptoms and do not attend your appointment if it is positive. Lizzie will take a lateral flow test at the first sign of any cold like symptoms and will cancel appointments if found positive.

Face masks are no longer a requirement during treatment. If you would like to wear one and would like Lizzie to also wear one, please ask in advance. All equipment is sanitised and washed between clients. A window is left open during treatment as long as it is warm enough and opened between clients to encourage air flow. A hepa air purifier is kept running during treatments.

The consultation part of the treatment can be done via Zoom ahead of time if preferred to lessen face to face contact. Full consultations can also be done via Zoom, excluding hands on massage, but including comprehensive review of the consultation form, teaching of self-care massage and recommendations for lifestyle changes etc. Please enquire if interested.
